Since 2021, Scale Strategic Solutions has supported career pathways innovation and collaboration in Columbus, Ohio through the New Skills ready network.  The initiative focuses on implementation and expansion of high-quality work-based learning, seamless secondary and postsecondary transitions, coordinated career advising and expansion of in-demand pathways.

Strengthening the alignment and rigor of career pathways achieves opportunities that are both valuable to the workforce and learners, particularly underserved and underrepresented populations. In collaboration with Ohio Excels, Columbus City Schools, Columbus State Community College, and The Ohio State University, we are developing a central Ohio career pathways system with cohesive partnerships that can strategically utilize resources and data to provide opportunities for learners.

Advance CTE, in partnership with Education Strategy Group and JPMorgan Chase recently published the annual report and snapshots with initiative lessons from Columbus, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, and Nashville.
